Risk assessment according to Regulation A-4 BWM Convention
Concern «SHIPS TECHNICAL RESOLUTIONS« will provide you with information on the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments of 2004, hereinafter A-4 BWM Convention
We provide methodological assistance to shipowners in granting exemptions in accordance with Regulation A-4 BWM Convention.
The Group develops technical documentation "Risk Assessment in accordance with Regulation A-4 BWM Convention", and also provides full support for the procedure for obtaining an exemption in accordance with Regulation D-2 of the International Convention on the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments, 2004, including but not limited to:
- preparation of a Risk Assessment in accordance with Regulation A-4 BWM Convention "in compliance with IMO Resolution MEPC.289 (71), taking into account the operation of ships in a particular sea / seas, in Russian and English (professional translation, taking into account the specifics of the document)
- preparation of the relevant required applications to the Maritime Administrations, in the form established by the IMO
- submission of drafts of all necessary letters of appeal to the Maritime Administrations and Classification Society
- monitoring the progress of the application for exemption both in the Classification Society and in the Maritime Administrations for granting an exemption
